our studio is located at the perry hotel in the heart of stock island, a literal “safe harbor” for ships and people alike. salty roots embodies both the laid back and the luxe atmosphere that lingers in the keys.

salty roots was first conceived in the summer of 2020 by seasoned stylist, tori shank. tori, a michigan native who relocated to the keys in 2018, felt the worldly shifts of “quarantine time” and had an urge to offer something different to the community that she now called home.
“living in such a magical place brought a lot of gratitude and humbleness. I was inspired to provide a fresh new style to the beauty industry in the keys.”
